Explore our programs that empower women across Uganda — from civic education and leadership training to advocacy and community engagement.
Since 2011, WDN Uganda has implemented programs that directly empower women to take on leadership roles in their communities, political parties, and local government structures.
Our civic education and leadership training programs have reached thousands of women across the West Nile region and beyond, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to participate meaningfully in democratic processes and advocate for gender equality.

Through our advocacy campaigns, we work with political parties, media, and civil society to challenge barriers that prevent women from accessing and sustaining political leadership. Our programs address issues of campaign planning, strategic communication, and the use of technology in modern politics.
WDN-U has facilitated the establishment of women's caucuses in districts across West Nile, creating sustainable networks that continue to support women leaders long after program completion.
